I am very grateful for YJP Houston! I have grown a lot in my Jewish observance thanks to the classes and programming. I have made great friends. Most importantly, I met my wife at YJP and Chabad of Uptown!

I can say that getting involved in YJP Houston is one of the best decisions I’ve made since my big move from the Northeast. I was instantly welcomed by the Lazaroff family and community members, and I now have some of my best friends in Houston because of this community.

I love all the experiences Chabad offers, especially Wednesday night classes, cooking group, First Fridays, and the CYP Encounter Guatemala trip

YJP has truly been one of the most meaningful parts of my journey and growth in Judaism. I’ve learned so much in classes and felt my connection to Judaism deepen in ways I never expected. The events are such a joy to be a part of. I’ve made incredible friendships and of course, one of the greatest blessings of all is that I met my husband through YJP events and classes. This community has truly changed my life, and I’m so grateful to be a part of it.

YJP Houston has truly been one of the highlights of my time in the city. Since moving back home in 2023, I’ve made lasting friendships, created unforgettable memories, and deepened my connection to Jewish learning and community. From engaging weekly classes and thought-provoking courses to vibrant social events, YJP offers something meaningful for everyone. It’s been incredible to watch the community grow and evolve, and I’m so grateful to be part of it.
